Dr Mike Short CBE visits ZPM

Zero Point Motion were pleased to host the Department for International Trade’s (DIT) Chief Scientific Adviser, Dr Mike Short CBE on 26th January.  

Dr Short has significant experience in the electronics and telecommunications industries and now advises the DIT on the technical aspects of international trade deals.  

Whilst at Zero Point Motion Dr Short met our CEO Lia Li and Executive Chairman Gordon Aspin to discuss the future of our positioning and navigation technology and the impact it will on the UK’s place within the semiconductor industry. 

Dr Short was shown our developments in chipscale, optically-enhanced inertial sensors which will revolutionise applications such as drones, robotics, indoor navigation and autonomous vehicles.
