Welcome Kanyin!

Meet Kanyin who joins the team to work on our InnovateUK funded, MyWorld project, Digibeat. Kanyin recently graduated from the University of the West of England (UWE) in Electronic Engineering and will be at Zero Point Motion for the next three months.  

During this internship, Kanyin will be integrating off-the-shelf heart rate measurement sensors such as electrocardiogram and photoplethysmography to benchmark the heart rate measurements we acquire from ballistocardiography measurements via inertial sensors.  

In his free time Kanyin enjoys learning phrases in different languages and, as well as being fluent in French, has started learning Russian and Spanish. He meditates regularly to reconnect with himself in a world filled with constant distractions. He also creates iOS Apps for fun and is working on his first iOS App for release.  

Kanyin is looking forward to tackling the challenging project ahead which combines his passion for embedded systems with working on cutting-edge technology. Talking about Zero Point Motion, Kanyin said, “Being part of an early-stage startup further amplifies the inspiration, as I can contribute to groundbreaking solutions in high-precision sensing while fuelling my passion for embedded systems.”
