Welcome Josh!

Meet Josh, Zero Point Motion’s Hardware Engineer who will working within the technical team to automate testing and calibration processes.

Josh completed his BEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Swansea University followed by an MSc in Microelectronics at the University of Liverpool.

After studying, Josh joined Collins Aerospace as a Technologist, working to develop the next generation, high performance capacitive MEMS based inertial measurement units. A significant part of the role involved automating test and calibration processes and increasing device throughput.

ZPM was of interest to Josh as “photonics is extremely disruptive, and there are clear benefits to the MEMS industry as a whole, not just for accelerometers and gyroscopes. It’s exciting to be at ZPM at what will be the start of a very exciting journey!”

In his free time Josh enjoys exploring Bristol, going for walks especially around National Trust sites and exploring different cultures though museums and exhibitions.
