Zero Point Motion attended the Immersive Tech Conference
On 28th and 29th September, the Immersive Technology Conference – Understanding & Application in Industry, organised by Immerse UK and Made Smarter Innovation Network, took place at AMRC’s Factory 2050 in Sheffield. Zero Point Motion’s Client Relationship Manager Rajeev Dattani went along to find out the latest news in the Extended Reality (XR) space. Rajeev also had the opportunity to pitch about Zero Point Motion’s optically enhanced inertial sensor technology.
The Immersive Technology Conference brings together providers and likeminded companies interested in understanding the benefits and challenges of deploying Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).
Zero Point Motion’s sensors could reduce pixel blur and decrease latency therefore reduce the resulting motion sickness which is a challenge with current XR headsets.
Talking about the event, “It was fascinating to see the new technology for headsets and use cases being developed in industry,” said Rajeev “in particular the deployment of AR by Boeing stood out as a genuine real world need for this type of technology.”
